A Jewish security group told police an attack on the community was “likely” because of heightened antisemitism, days before December’s mass shooting in Sydney.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said they were working to rescue those stranded and deliver supplies like food, fuel and medicine.

The police said the men, aged 45 and 47, were accused of arson with intent to endanger life after the attack on Monday in Golders Green.
